Website Report Card

A full, honest score across Performance, SEO, Mobile and Security — the same real checks Google itself uses. No email, no signup.

Real checks across Performance, SEO, Mobile & Security — no email, no signup. Takes up to a minute.

Your report

An overall score out of 100, plus a breakdown of exactly what passed and what didn't.

  • Performance
  • SEO
  • Mobile-Friendliness
  • Security & Best Practices

Scores come fromGoogle PageSpeed Insights— the same data Google's own tool reports. You can verify any result there yourself.

What the Report Card checks

Every check below runs against your live page using Google's own PageSpeed Insights data — the same source as Google's public tool, so you can verify any result yourself.

Performance

How quickly your pages actually become usable on a real phone.

  • Largest Contentful Paint — when your main content appears
  • First Contentful Paint — when anything appears at all
  • Total Blocking Time — whether taps respond straight away
  • Cumulative Layout Shift — whether the page jumps while loading

SEO

Whether Google can find, read and correctly represent your pages.

  • Page title and meta description
  • Whether the page is crawlable and indexable
  • Canonical URL and a valid robots.txt
  • Descriptive link text and image alt text
  • A reachable sitemap, structured data and Open Graph tags

Mobile-Friendliness

How the site behaves on the phones most of your visitors use.

  • Load speed measured on a simulated mid-range phone
  • A responsive viewport, so the page adapts instead of shrinking

Security & Best Practices

Whether the basics that protect your visitors are actually in place.

  • HTTPS, and HSTS to enforce it
  • A Content-Security-Policy
  • X-Content-Type-Options response header
  • Declared character encoding and a valid doctype

One honest caveat: the overall score is a weighted average (performance 35%, SEO 25%, mobile 20%, security 20%), which means a site can be badly slow and still score moderately well. I wrote about that problem here — read the four categories separately, not just the number at the top.

Common questions

What does the Website Report Card check?

Four things that decide whether your website actually works for your business: Performance (how fast it loads), SEO (whether Google can find and understand it), Mobile-Friendliness (how it works on a phone), and Security & Best Practices (whether it protects your visitors properly). Every check uses Google's own PageSpeed data — not a guess.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

No catch. No email, no signup, no account. Paste a URL and get your score. I built it because "contact us for an audit" is exactly the kind of thing I'd skip too.

Why does it take up to a minute?

A real multi-category audit is genuinely slow — Google's own tools (and GTmetrix, and every other credible checker) take 20-60 seconds too. A tool that returns a "score" instantly usually isn't actually testing anything.

My score is low. What now?

Every issue the report lists is fixable, and most are quicker than you'd think. If you'd rather not do it yourself, message me — I do exactly this kind of fix, and I'll tell you honestly what it needs before you pay anything.

Can I share or save my report?

Yes — every report has its own link (just copy it after running a scan), and there's a print/save-as-PDF button for a clean one-page version you can keep or send to your team.

Want it fixed, not just graded?

I'll design a free homepage concept for your business within 24 hours — see the quality first, then decide.
