If the fence is properly installed, the animals won’t be able to fly and may not survive the winter.
But the post said it is important to follow the guidelines of the National Park Service and park officials when installing barbed or wire fences.
“This isn’t just about aesthetics,” the post reads.
“It’s also about saving wildlife lives.”
