The Maharashtra government has announced a new type of 4-wire connector to make use of the high speed mobile broadband connectivity technology.
The government has invested about Rs. 7.50 crore in the project, which will be done by an engineering firm under the chairmanship of Pratap Agrawal.
Agrawel is a senior member of the government and serves as telecom minister.
The state government had earlier invested Rs. 5 crore in a similar project, but this project is the first to use a hybrid 4- and 5-wire design.
